I believe in providing the very best care possible. That is exactly what I would want from a doctor.

In light of that, I spend countless hours reading journals and staying up to date with current medical science. I have a real passion for this. The more I know, the more I can add value to my patients' lives.

Over the past decade, medical science has made many new discoveries. Just as in acute care, the alternative medical field has seen many advances.

In the treatment of spinal disc problems and chronic low back pain, non-surgical spinal decompression has come on the scene. This is high-tech medical equipment that has a very high success rate in treating disc problems without drugs or surgery.

The machine that we use was used in most studies (DRX 9000) and is very sophisticated medical equipment. It was (and is) the one that achieved results. There are many companies that have followed them and produced their own version. Basically, they piggyback on the original studies and sell their lower cost machine at a discount. The original unit costs about ten times more than the imitators.

You really don’t know what kind of results to expect from these cheap units. They have not shown the results, as the FDA-cleared units are tested for outcomes. The cheaper units just need to show that they are similar in function to the original FDA-cleared machine.

We only offer the very best, proven technology to our patients. I like to sleep at night with a clean conscience, knowing that I can look people in the eye and tell them, honestly, what outcomes are possible.

Another new technology available is cold laser therapy. This was cleared for use in the United States in 2002. Most people have never even heard of it.

Again, the laser that we use at Moleski Chiropractic (Erchonia PL5) was the one used in the FDA studies that got tremendous results. That is why this is the laser I use in my office. I could go out and buy one that is five times cheaper, but does it even work?

These cheaper units, again, piggyback on the original studies. I can not, and will not use these cheaper units on my patients.

Our goal is to provide you with first-class care.
